Barre combines low-impact exercises like stretching or upper arm circles with faster-paced physical activity such as jumping squats to create a variety of aerobic conditioning sessions which have been shown over time to be more effective at improving core strength than traditional sit-ups can offer alone.
Barre Intensity® combines attributes of Pilates, dance, and functional fitness training. We incorporate small isolated movement to fatigue the muscles, large range motion to elevate the heart rate, and sequencing that incorporates the upper and lower body to make every minute count.
Reshape the body with this total-body toning class that integrates Pilates, dance, balance, and strength training to sculpt and cinch from head to toe. This non-impactful 55-minute class targets all major muscle groups while sculpting arms, abs, lifting the seat, and elongating thighs.
Many dance fitness classes have a focus on cardiovascular exercise. Instructors plan easy-to-follow choreography that keeps participants moving in an effort to raise their heart rates.
